The cast of top-ranked comedy sitcom “Big Bang Theory” won’t be at the 2013 comic-con in San Diego but their artistic cartoon-y likenesses will be staring at you at every booth as CBS/Warner Bros has partnered with CC for several swag bags doubling as backpacks including a bag/backpack featuring cartoon-like representations of the entire BBT cast on one side and a red cape festooned with “Bazinga!” – the catchphrase of main character Sheldon [Jim Parsons]. Other swag bags will promote television series “Arrow”, “Teen Titans Go!”, “Supernatural”, “The Following”, “Revolution”, “Vampire Diaries”, “Batman” as well as movies “Godzilla”, “The LEGO Movie”, “300: Rise of an Empire” and “Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox” Although the BBT cast will miss Comic-Con for the first time since the show’s successful launch [many of the cast are involved in movies that created scheduling conflicts], there will be a BBT panel at 10am in Ballroom 20 on Friday, July 20 with several of the show’s creative staff.
Comic-con 2013 will be held at the San Diego Convention Center from July 18-21, 2013.
